Combine the carrots, 2 tbsp butter, water, honey, salt, and pepper in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium, cover, and cook for 8β10 minutes, until the carrots are just tender when pierced with a fork but still hold their shape.
