Oregano is fine during pregnancy in normal cooking amounts - this recipe uses about scant 1/4 tsp per serving. The caution is about concentrated oregano oil and large medicinal doses.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the lasagna noodles according to package directions until al dente, tender with a slight resistance at the center. Drain, lay flat on a lightly oiled baking sheet to prevent sticking, and set aside.
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Add the onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened and translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook, stirring, until fragrant, about 1 minute.
