Fresh blackberries and bright lime juice make this mojito one of the most vibrant, refreshing cocktails you can put together at home. The sweetness here comes entirely from a quick homemade simple syrup β just sugar and water β so there's no need to reach for honey or any alternative sweetener that might throw off the balance. Muddling the blackberries directly in the glass releases that gorgeous deep purple juice, which swirls through the rum and fizzy sparkling water in the most satisfying way. Bruised mint leaves add that classic mojito aroma that hits you before you even take a sip. A squeeze of fresh lime ties everything together with just enough tartness to keep it from feeling too sweet. It's the kind of drink that looks like it came from a craft cocktail bar but comes together with minimal effort and no special equipment beyond a muddler.
