A vibrant, fruit-forward cocktail doesn't have to come loaded with mystery sweeteners, and this blackberry mojito proves it beautifully. The sweetness here comes entirely from a quick homemade simple syrup β just granulated sugar and water β so you know exactly what's going into your glass with zero processed additives to worry about. Muddling fresh blackberries and mint together creates this gorgeous deep-purple base that smells incredible before you've even added the rum. Freshly squeezed lime juice keeps things bright and tangy, balancing the berries in a way that bottled mixers simply can't replicate. A splash of sparkling water at the end lifts everything and keeps the drink refreshing rather than heavy. It's the kind of cocktail that looks like it came from a craft bar but comes together in your own kitchen with nothing but whole, recognizable ingredients.
