There is something deeply satisfying about a cocktail built entirely from real, whole ingredients β no shortcuts, no mystery syrups, just fruit, herbs, and a little kitchen effort. Fresh blackberries get muddled right in the glass alongside bright mint leaves, releasing that gorgeous deep purple juice that makes this drink as beautiful as it is flavorful. The simple syrup is made from scratch with just sugar and water, so you know exactly what's sweetening your glass β no artificial flavoring agents hiding anywhere in the mix. Fresh-squeezed lime juice brings a sharp citrus backbone that bottled versions simply can't replicate, and the sparkling water finish keeps everything light and effervescent. White rum ties it all together without overpowering the natural fruit and herb notes you worked to build. It's the kind of cocktail that looks like it came from a craft bar but comes together in your own kitchen with nothing but honest ingredients and a muddler.
