Few drinks are as satisfying as a tall, ice-cold glass of half iced tea, half lemonade — and this homemade version absolutely crushes anything you'd find in a can. The tea is steeped just right, never bitter, and the lemonade is built from a quick simple syrup and freshly squeezed lemon juice, giving it that bright, tart punch that bottled versions always seem to miss. Everything here is made from scratch with pantry staples and fresh citrus, so there's zero guesswork about what's actually in your glass. It's naturally free of nuts and any of the hidden additives that can sneak into store-bought drinks, making it a genuinely clean, refreshing choice. A handful of ice, a few lemon slices, and a sprig of mint turn it into something that looks as good as it tastes. Whether you're serving a crowd on a hot afternoon or just treating yourself, this pitcher comes together with minimal effort and maximum payoff.

Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat, add the 4 tea bags, and steep for 5 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bags without squeezing them, then stir in the remaining 2 cups of cold water. Set aside to cool to room temperature, about 20 minutes.
While the tea cools, combine the sugar and 1/2 cup water in the saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved and the syrup is clear, about 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
