Chef's tip
Use plain, unsweetened soy milk, measured 1:1. It's one of the most reliable milk swaps and works in sauces, custards, and baked goods. For hot or acidic drinks, a barista-style soy milk resists curdling.
1 tsp honey
½ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp pure vanilla extract
⅛ tsp ground turmeric
1 pinch black pepper
1 pinch ground ginger (optional)

Instructions

1
Brew 3/4 cup strong coffee or pull 2 shots of espresso directly into your mug.
2
Combine the milk, honey, cinnamon, turmeric, black pepper, and ground ginger (if using) in a small saucepan over medium heat, whisking to blend the spices. Heat until steaming and small bubbles form around the edges, about 3–4 minutes — do not let it boil.
