Bright, zesty, and packed with plant-based protein, this edamame hummus is the kind of snack that actually earns its place on the table. Edamame brings a solid hit of folate and protein — both genuinely useful during pregnancy — while tahini and olive oil add healthy fats that keep you satisfied between meals. Fresh lime juice and a generous handful of cilantro give it a vibrant, almost restaurant-quality flavor that makes it hard to stop at just one scoop. The veggie dippers — crisp carrots, cool cucumber spears, and sweet red bell pepper strips — mean you're getting fiber and vitamins built right into the snack without any extra effort. Because everything is made from scratch in a food processor, you have full control over what goes in, which matters when you're being more careful about ingredients. The optional red pepper flakes let you dial the heat up or down depending on how your appetite is feeling that day. It comes together quickly, stores well in the fridge, and honestly tastes good enough that the whole household will be reaching for it.

Add the cooked edamame, olive oil, lime juice, garlic, cilantro, tahini, cumin, and salt to a food processor. Process for about 1 minute, scraping down the sides halfway through, until the mixture is mostly smooth.
