Bright, herby, and impossibly creamy, this chickpea dip brings together fresh lime juice, cilantro, and a touch of turmeric for a hummus that tastes anything but ordinary. The food processor does the heavy lifting — blending tahini, garlic, and cumin into a silky, swirl-worthy spread that holds its shape beautifully in the bowl. For anyone navigating capsaicin sensitivity, store-bought hummus and dip platters can be a minefield of hidden chili powders, cayenne, or spicy seasoning blends, but every ingredient here is naturally heat-free and easy to verify. The optional smoked paprika garnish adds a gentle, smoky finish without any of the burn, so you can use it freely or skip it entirely depending on your needs. Carrot sticks, cucumber spears, and sweet red bell pepper strips round out the platter with satisfying crunch and color. A final drizzle of good olive oil and a scatter of fresh cilantro make the whole thing look like something you'd order at a restaurant — except it came together in your own kitchen with minimal effort.

Instructions
1
Add the chickpeas, tahini, lime juice, garlic, cilantro, cumin, turmeric, and salt to a food processor. Process for about 30 seconds, until the mixture is roughly combined and the chickpeas are broken down.
2
With the processor running, drizzle in the 3 tbsp olive oil through the feed tube. Continue processing for 1–2 minutes, scraping down the sides once, until the hummus is smooth and creamy. Add the reserved chickpea liquid or cold water 1 tbsp at a time, processing between additions, until the hummus reaches a smooth, spreadable consistency that holds a swirl.
