Black tea is only a FODMAP concern when brewed very strong; here 2 tea bags just season the braising liquid for 12 eggs and that liquid is not eaten, so the amount reaching a serving is minimal and likely fine on a low FODMAP diet. If you prefer to always avoid black tea bags, please tap it and change its rating to Red.

Place the eggs in a medium saucepan and cover with cold water by 1 inch. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to a gentle simmer and cook for 8 minutes. Transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water and let them cool for 5 minutes.
Once the eggs are cool enough to handle, gently tap each egg all over with the back of a spoon to create a network of fine cracks across the entire shell โ do not peel. The more cracks, the more pronounced the marbled pattern.
