There is something genuinely refreshing about a drink that tastes this vibrant and still works with a sensitive digestive system. Fresh raspberries are simmered down into a naturally sweetened syrup using maple syrup, which is far gentler than refined sugar and skips the artificial additives hiding in most store-bought mixers. A generous hit of real lemon juice and lemon zest keeps everything bright and tangy without relying on any concentrates or preservatives. The syrup gets strained smooth before chilling, so you get all that gorgeous berry flavor without any of the fibrous bits that can sometimes cause discomfort. Topped off with sparkling water, it's lively and bubbly in the best way โ the kind of drink that feels like a treat but is made entirely from whole, recognizable ingredients. It comes together in a pitcher, looks stunning with a raspberry and lemon slice on the rim, and is ready to pour the moment guests arrive.

Combine the raspberries, maple syrup, water, and lemon zest in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the raspberries gently with the back of a spoon, until the berries have broken down and the syrup is slightly thickened, about 8โ10 minutes.
Pour the syrup through a fine-mesh strainer into a heatproof bowl or measuring cup, pressing the solids firmly to extract all the liquid. Discard the solids. Let the strained syrup cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until fully chilled, at least 30 minutes.
