Staying well-hydrated while nursing can feel like a full-time job on top of an already full-time job, and plain water gets old fast. This sparkling cooler is the kind of drink that actually makes you want to hit your fluid goals โ bright, tangy, and just sweet enough to feel like a treat. A homemade raspberry-lemon syrup made with fresh berries, maple syrup, and lemon zest forms the flavor base, so you know exactly what's going into every sip โ no artificial dyes, no mystery sweeteners, nothing you'd want to avoid. The syrup comes together in about ten minutes on the stovetop, gets strained smooth, and chills until you're ready to mix it with fresh lemon juice and cold sparkling water. The result is fizzy, fruity, and genuinely refreshing in a way that feels celebratory without a drop of alcohol. Dress it up with a lemon slice and a few fresh raspberries and it looks gorgeous on the counter โ proof that taking care of yourself can also look really, really good.

Combine the raspberries, maple syrup, water, and lemon zest in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the raspberries gently with the back of a spoon, until the berries have broken down and the syrup is slightly thickened, about 8โ10 minutes.
Pour the syrup through a fine-mesh strainer into a heatproof bowl or measuring cup, pressing the solids firmly to extract all the liquid. Discard the solids. Let the strained syrup cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until fully chilled, at least 30 minutes.
