There's something deeply satisfying about a loaf that rises, bakes, and fills the kitchen with that yeasty aroma with almost zero hands-on effort — just load the pan, press a button, and let the machine do the work. Butter, sugar, and yeast come together into a soft, well-risen dough that bakes up into a deep-golden crust with a tender, pillowy crumb underneath. The bread machine handles the kneading and rise time perfectly, so you get consistent results every single time without babysitting a stand mixer or proofing bowl. Once it's done, that hollow-sounding tap on the bottom tells you it's ready — let it rest on a wire rack so the crumb sets up before you slice into it. Toasted, sandwiched, or eaten warm with a pat of something creamy, this one earns a permanent spot in a gluten free bread rotation.

Add the ingredients to the bread machine pan in the order listed: water, butter, sugar, salt, bread flour, and yeast. Make a small well in the center of the flour and pour the yeast into it, keeping the yeast away from the salt.
Insert the pan into the bread machine, select the Basic or White Bread cycle, choose your preferred crust color (medium is recommended), and press Start. The full cycle will run approximately 3 hours.
