This vibrant mocktail is everything you want in a refreshing drink — tart, lightly sweet, and absolutely gorgeous in the glass. A quick homemade berry syrup made from fresh or frozen berries, raw honey, and lemon juice forms the base, and it comes together in just a few minutes on the stovetop. Poured over ice and topped with chilled kombucha, the result is bubbly, fruity, and just sophisticated enough to feel like a real occasion. The gentle fizz of the kombucha plays beautifully against the deep berry flavor without overpowering it. Every single ingredient here is naturally free of tree nuts and related allergens, so there's no label-scanning or substitution stress involved. A few fresh mint leaves on top make it look like something you'd order at a fancy brunch spot — but you made it at home in under fifteen minutes.

Combine the berries, honey, lemon juice, and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring and pressing the berries with the back of a spoon, until the berries have broken down and the mixture is syrupy, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour the berry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a small bowl, pressing firmly on the solids to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids. Let the berry syrup cool to room temperature, about 5 minutes.
