Fresh turmeric and ginger are the backbone of this vibrant little shot, and the apple brings just enough natural sweetness to make the whole thing genuinely enjoyable rather than something you have to choke down. Most store-bought wellness shots are loaded with sweeteners and preservatives you never asked for, but this one keeps things clean — the only sweetener in the mix is an optional drizzle of raw honey, which you can leave out entirely if you're keeping things completely free of added sugar. The apple cider vinegar rounds out the flavor with a subtle tang that makes each sip feel sharp and purposeful. Blending and straining the whole thing takes just a couple of minutes, and the result is a bright, golden liquid that looks as good as it feels. Make a small batch and keep it in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to a day, so your morning routine stays effortless all week long.

Add the chopped apple, turmeric root, ginger root, and cold water to a blender. Blend on high until completely smooth, about 45–60 seconds.
Set a fine-mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth or a nut milk bag over a small pitcher or measuring cup. Pour the blended mixture through and press or squeeze firmly until all the liquid is extracted and the pulp is dry. Discard the pulp.
