Slow-braised brisket is the kind of meal that fills your whole kitchen with an aroma so good people start wandering in asking what's for dinner. This version gets its depth from unfiltered apple cider, bone broth, and a touch of honey, with warm spices like turmeric, ginger, and Ceylon cinnamon rubbed right into the meat before it ever hits the pan. A hard sear in coconut oil builds a gorgeous crust, and then the Dutch oven does the heavy lifting low and slow until the beef is fall-apart tender and the braising liquid has turned into something you'll want to spoon over everything on the plate. The vegetables — onion, carrots, and celery — braise right alongside the meat and soak up all that cider-and-herb richness, so you've got a built-in side dish ready to go. Every ingredient here is straightforward and naturally free from tree nuts of any kind, so there's no label-scanning or substitution stress involved. A scatter of fresh parsley at the end adds a little brightness to what is otherwise a deeply savory, slow-cooked centerpiece. This is the kind of recipe worth saving for a Sunday when you want the house to smell incredible and dinner to basically cook itself.

Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Pat the brisket completely dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, combine the salt, turmeric, and ginger, then rub the mixture evenly over all sides of the brisket.
Heat the coconut oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add the brisket fat-side down and sear undisturbed for 4–5 minutes, until deep golden brown and releasing easily from the pot. Flip and sear the other side for 3–4 minutes until browned. Transfer the brisket to a plate and set aside.
