Fig Updates

Dear Fig Members,

Happy New Year! What an incredible way to end 2021 – more than 20,000 of you joined Fig in just the past 2 weeks (we went viral on TikTok!). We’re grateful to have you on our journey to help everyone find food, no matter their dietary restrictions 🙂

December was an exciting month! Based on your feedback, we added two new features to the Fig app:

  • List of ingredients you can and can’t eat: Just click the “Profile” tab and you can see and search all the ingredients that match your Fig.
  • Red products on search: You can now filter products by Green, Yellow and Red on the “Search” tab. If you’re not able to find a product, try searching for it with the Red filter turned on.

We’re excited for what’s coming in January! I’ll give you a hint – think more diets and more grocery stores. The team is also working hard to increase product accuracy on Fig. Thanks for your patience and help with this, especially for stores like Amazon, CVS and Walmart.

On a personal note, I’ll be kicking off a low histamine / food chemical elimination diet this month. I’m excited for what I’ll learn about my personal trigger foods. If you’d like to follow along, check out my TikTok and Instagram.

Thank you again for your support of Fig. We’re committed to making life with dietary restrictions easier. Please message me directly if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas for improving Fig. And since Fig is still under development, please do double-check ingredients for everything you find. Have a great weekend!
