Panera Bread gluten policy:
Panera provides a list of menu items without gluten ingredients here: https://www.panerabread.com/en-us/menu/nutritious-eating/diet/gluten-conscious.html
From Panera’s website: “As long as you don’t have celiac disease, a heightened gluten sensitivity or a wheat allergy (in which case you should check with your doctor), we’ve got some great Panera menu options that are made with ingredients that do not contain gluten, and could be just what you’re looking for.”
“Disclaimer: Panera Bread’s gluten-conscious menu items are prepared in the same kitchen as our gluten-containing menu items. While we’re happy to make your order just the way you want, we can’t guarantee that there will be no cross-contact between ingredients. If you have celiac disease, a heightened gluten intolerance, or a wheat allergy, please consult with your doctor on the specifics of your gluten-free diet.”
Panera Bread allergen statement:
From the Panera website: “Many of our products contain or may come into contact with common allergens, including wheat, peanuts, soy, tree nuts, milk, eggs, fish, shellfish and sesame.
Our bakery-cafe and catering menus vary by location due to, among other things, market tests and local requirements. If you have an allergy concern, please ask a manager at your bakery-cafe to check the ingredient listing for specific menu items. Please note that we cannot guarantee that any of our menu items are free of allergens because we use shared equipment and handle common allergens throughout our supply chain and bakery-cafe. To find out about allergens in our Panera At Home™ consumer packaged products, please see the detailed ingredient listing on the applicable packaging or the Panera At Home page on PaneraBread.com.”
Panera Bread vegan / vegetarian information:
Panera’s definition of a vegan menu item: “Panera’s definition of a vegan menu item is a food with no animal sources: no meat, fish, shellfish, milk, egg or honey products, and no enzymes and rennet from animal sources are allowed. Of course, all of our menu items (vegan and non-vegan) are prepared in the same kitchen, so while we’re happy to make your order just the way you want, we can’t guarantee that there will be no cross-contact between ingredients.”

How to use Fig restaurants:
- Fig shows you menu items that likely fit your Fig based on publicly available restaurant-reported ingredients and allergens. If a menu item says “please read note,” click the menu item to understand why the item may or may not fit your Fig.
- Fig does not yet take cross-contamination into account. Please always confirm ingredient and allergen information with the restaurant, and always work with the restaurant manager and staff to determine if a menu item is appropriate for you. Restaurants regularly change ingredients, allergen information, procedures, food sourcing and management.
- Fig restaurants is still an early feature, and your feedback helps us make it better. If you have any ideas for us, please send them to support@foodisgood.com. We’ll also be sending you a few surveys as you use it!
