Is aleppo pepper low FODMAP?
Aleppo Pepper has not been tested for FODMAPs and may be high or low FODMAP. Spicy peppers also contain capsaicin which can trigger GI symptoms like heartburn and abdominal pain in some IBS patients. Always test tolerance of untested foods like aleppo pepper in small portions and only when your symptoms are fully settled. Possible FODMAPs: Fructose, Sorbitol, Fructans
